South Korean Investors Plan Major Projects in Namangan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A delegation of South Korean entrepreneurs, renowned in the construction sector, visited Namangan region today. The delegation was received by the regional hokim, Shavkatjon Abdurazzoqov.

“We came here after hearing about the developments in Namangan with great interest and plan to implement major projects,” said Yang Chang Shik, director of The Washington Times Foundation.

The delegation also included Lee Song Hun, a board member of Lotte Corporation; Hyu Stefan Singhwe, director of the architectural and design firm PDI Design Group; and Cho Kwe Yun, director of the construction company De Catle Industries.

During the discussions, the parties reviewed plans for the construction of a new residential complex and a hotel in the “New Namangan Urban Zone.”

Following the meeting, both sides agreed to strengthen cooperation and commence project implementation as soon as possible.
