Some 86 objects privatized in Uzbekistan

About 86 enterprises and objects (including program and non-program objects) were privatized in January-June 2014, according to the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Privatization, Demonopolization and Development of Competition.
In the reporting period the largest number of objects was privatized in Tashkent region (57 objects), Navoi region (6 objects), the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Kashkadarya region and Khorezm region (4 objects per each).
In the structure of privatized state property, the highest share falls to objects of local authorities – 68 objects.
Receipts of money from realization of government assets exceeded 26 billion soums in January-June 2014.
The most part of receipts received from realization of government assets was marked in Tashkent region (34.3% of total receipts), the city of Tashkent (30.8%), Bukhara region (8.6%), Khorezm region (5.3%), Samarkand region (5.1%), and Surkhandarya region (3.6%).
