Some 372 enterprises with foreign capital registered in Uzbekistan in Jan-Sep

Largest number of enterprises was registered in Tashkent city (250 units), Tashkent region (33 units), Ferghana and Samarkand regions (18 each), Andijan region (12), Bukhara and Surkhandarya regions (7 each), Karakalpakstan and Namangan region (6 each), Jizzakh and Syrdarya region (5 each).

The committee said that 75 enterprises were created with participation of capital from China, 67 – Russia, 43 – South Korea, 28 – Turkey, 26 – Great Britain, 19 – India, 15 – Kazakhstan, etc.

About 166 of enterprises with foreign capital were registered in industry, 98 – trade and catering, 7 – agriculture, 26 – construction, 8 - transport and communication, 37 – other production industries, 19 – healthcare, physical culture and sport.

As of 1 October 2015, number of registered enterprises with foreign capital in Uzbekistan exceeded 5,000.
