Some 11.1 Million Square Meters of Housing Commissioned Over Nine Months In Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — According to the National Statistics Committee, from January to September 2025, Uzbekistan commissioned 11.1 million square meters of housing, representing a 2.4% increase compared to the same period in 2024.
The largest volumes of construction were recorded in Tashkent Region (1.44 million sq.m), Bukhara Region (1.22 million sq.m), Namangan Region (1.13 million sq.m), and Ferghana Region (956.7 thousand sq.m). In the capital city of Tashkent, 578.3 thousand square meters of housing were commissioned.
Smaller volumes of new housing were noted in Syrdarya Region (90.2 thousand sq.m) and Samarkand Region (312.7 thousand sq.m). Other regions demonstrated stable growth in construction, reflecting the ongoing development of the housing sector and urbanization in the country.
