Some 109 enterprises with foreign capital registered in Uzbekistan in 1Q

About 78 of them were registered in Tashkent city, 9 – in Tashkent region, and 4 in Samarkand and Syrdarya regions each.

Russian residents created 21 enterprises, Chinese – 20, Korean – 10, Kazakh – 9, British – 8, Turkish – 7 and Indian – 5.

The committee said that 51 enterprises were created in industry, 19 – in trade, 7 – accommodation and food services, 6 – construction, 3 – agriculture, forestry and fishing.

As of 1 April 2016, total number of enterprises with participation of foreign capital made up 4,900.
