Snow and ice to be cleaned in Tashkent city with hashar

Governor of Tashkent city Rakhmonbek Usmanov signed a corresponding decision, the information service of the Tashkent city administration.

According to information service of the administration, cold and snow created some difficulties for communal services and local administrations. In the result, consumption of gas and electricity rose in Tashkent city. The roads were frozen.

Despite warming, there are snow and ice in some streets, which creates movement of transport and pedestrians.

The administration said that special attention will be paid to 63 streets in Tashkent, where snow and ice will be cleaned and the streets will be processed with mixture of soil and salt to speed up snow and ice melting.

According to the decision, snow and ice will be cleaned near trade and service points, catering points and markets. It is planned to attract additional transport to remove ice and snow from streets.

Employees of all enterprises and organizations, independently of their property form, as well as citizens of Tashkent will participate in hashar, the information service of the administration said.
