Small business and private entrepreneurship - important factor in economic development

It was attended by members of UzLiDeP faction, representatives of prosecutor’s offices in Bektemir and Yashnabad district, tax and customs management, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, party activists, entrepreneurs, professionals and experts.

It was noted at the event that under the leadership of President Islam Karimov, systemic works are carried out in Uzbekistan to support small and private businesses, liquidate barriers on the way of their accelerated development and strengthening guarantees for protection of private property. In recent years, more than 15 laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan have been adopted including those “On measures on ensuring reliable protection of private property, small business and private entrepreneurship, eliminating barriers for their fast development” and “ On introducing amendments and addenda to some legislative acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan” aimed at bolstering the reliable protection of private property and entrepreneurship entities, removing barriers for their rapid development.

- In accordance with it, amendments and addenda were introduced to more than 40 normative acts pertaining to almost all aspects of business activities,- says the MP of UzLiDeP at the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis R. Kobilov. - In addition, the legislation envisages strengthening guarantees for protection of private property, liberalize administrative and criminal legislations, regulating business activities, further simplification of all kinds of registration, permission and licensing procedures for foreign economic activities for businesses. In this document special attention is paid to improve access entrepreneurs to the material and credit resources and further improve the business environment in the country.
