Slovakia appoints new Ambassador to Uzbekistan

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received newly appointed envoy. The Ambassador handed the copy of his credentials to Uzbek Foreign Ministry.

During the conversation, the sides discussed current issues of the Uzbek-Slovak relations in political, trade-economic, investment, cultural-humanitarian and other spheres, the press service of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.

As it was noted, the sides have significant potential for increasing mutual trade, supplying competitive products and in this regard, are ready to promote business contacts between business representatives of Uzbekistan and Slovakia.

At the meeting, some international and regional issues were also discussed.
