Sizes of zakat, fitr-charity and fiyda set for 2018

Chairperson of the Uzbekistan Muslim Board signed a resolution of the Council of Ulems of the board on setting the sums of zakat, fitr-charity and fidya for 2018.
According to the resolution, the sum of zakat set at 400,000 soums. In line with the document, market price of 1 gram of gold is 188,230 soums and 85 grams of gold will cost 16 million soums. The 1/40 of this sum will make up 400,000 soums.
The fitr-charity will be equal to 5,000 soums. The fitr charity is equal to 2 kg of wheat and currently 1 kg of wheat costs 2,500 soums.
The fidya set at 12,000 soums, which is equal to the price of one-day food package.
