Six Orphans Returned to Uzbekistan from Russia
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Six children who were left without parental care in Russia have been returned to Uzbekistan, the Dunyo news agency reports.
Two of the children arrived from Saint Petersburg, while the others came from Moscow and the Moscow Region, the Republic of Tatarstan, and the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic.
During the process, officials from the relevant ministries and agencies verified the children’s identities, prepared the necessary documents for their return, organized medical examinations, and coordinated other logistical matters.
It is noted that in January 2026 a total of 20 minors were repatriated to Uzbekistan. Work in this area continues.
