Single direction for the management of small industrial zones to be created in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a resolution “On measures to further improve the coordination and management of small industrial zones”.

By a resolution, in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regions and the city of Tashkent, single directorates for the management of small industrial zones were established.

Small industrial zones are created solely on the basis of inactive enterprises and vacant non-agricultural land areas with existing or easily carried out transport and engineering and communications infrastructure.

The directorates of small industrial zones are exempt from land tax and property tax until 1 July 2022.
