Simplification of real estate registration discussed in Uzbekistan
The task was put in line with the presidential resolution “On additional measures on further improving investment climate and business environment in Uzbekistan” from 4 April 2014.
The State Communication Committee said that representatives of the Cabinet of Ministers, ministries and departments, administrations and other interested organizations. The officials considered improving registration of the ownership rights to real estates.
The participants also underlined some difficulties in analyzing and reorganizing of the procedures and sometimes there is no support by the responsible officials of state bodies. It was said that the state bodies should improve their approach to rendering state services in regime of one-stop-shop, within which the state bodies are responsible for receiving necessary information from the state bodies.
At the end of the meeting, it was decided to create inter-departmental working group on full inventerization of procedure, related to allocation of land, issue of construction permissions, registration of property rights to real estate, connection of electricity supplies.
The working group will work on further simplification of above-mentioned procedures and introduction of necessary changes to transfer process to electronic form.
