Siemens experts conduct lecture on energy at Tashkent State Technical University
Mathias Fraenkel and Juan Luis Cahuana-Tito, employees of the Department of Energy and Gas Production of Siemens AG, who were in Uzbekistan on a working visit, made presentation.
Experts talked about the development of large-scale power engineering, the last major realized projects in Germany, Egypt and the USA, and also shared the features of turbine engineering. In detail experts have stopped on gas turbines of F and H class, which can be used in the implementation of new projects in Uzbekistan.
Siemens maintains close ties with one of the leading universities in Central Asia since the establishment of its office in of Uzbekistan, and Dr. von Pirer (former president of Siemens AG) is an honorary of at the university and is a member of its board of trustees, Ulugbek Mannanov, Vice-Rector for International Relations of TSTU, said
Academician Kakhramon Allayev emphasized that the lecture is an important step in the system of educating a new generation of highly skilled specialists - power engineers and mechanics, allowing young specialists to receive knowledge directly from the source.
The parties intend to continue to maintain close relations for the successful development of energy projects in Uzbekistan.
