Shukhrat Teshaev appointed as agriculture minister

President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov appointed Shukhrat Teshaev as a Minister of Agriculture and Water Management. The corresponding changes was introduced to the structure of leadership of the ministry at its official website.
The official website of the Government of Uzbekistan – gov.uz – also introduced changes to the personal structure of the Cabinet of Ministers.
Prior to appointment Shukhrat Teshaev worked as the first deputy minister of Agriculture and Water Management, responsible for agrotechnical issues. Currently, this post is vacant.
At the post of the Minister of Agriculture and Water Management, Shukhrat Teshaev replaced Zafar Ruziev, who was appointed as governor of Kashkadarya region in September 2013.
