Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Khokim of Ferghana Region, Shukhrat Ganiev, held talks with a delegation from Kyrgyzstan, led by Governor of Batken Region of Kyrgyzstan Alisher Abdurakhmanov.

It was noted that the use of transboundary water resources and pastures will be based on the principle of tolerance and historically friendly relations, as well as existing legal norms.

The Kyrgyz side noted that Kyrgyzstan will not impede the movement of people and goods, including food and consumer goods from the country to Sokh district and the villages of Shahimardan and Yordan.

It was noted that the recent conflict in Sokh district will not harm the good-neighborly relations between the two countries.
