Shop for assembly and maintenance of mobile gas filling stations launched in FEZ Angren

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Shop for assembly and maintenance of mobile gas filling stations launched in free economic zone Angren.

Currently, there are 700 special gas filling compressor stations in Uzbekistan. Their number will increase by 178 in next two years.

Nevertheless, the issues of providing gas in remote rural areas and creating conditions for autonomous refueling of vehicles with gas motor fuel are still relevant. A project to organize the production and maintenance of mobile gas filling stations in Uzbekistan is called upon to solve them. It was implemented in the Free Economic Zone "Angren" by Uzbekneftegaz together with partners from the Republic of Korea. Just recently, a new plant for the assembly of this equipment has opened at FEZ Angren.

“The agreement on the project implementation was reached during the visit of the President of Uzbekistan to the Republic of Korea,” the general director of JV UNG ENK MOBILE LLC In Ying Chun said. - As a result, in 2017, a joint venture was established between Uzbekneftegaz and NK MOBILE on a parity basis. And now we have organized a workshop for the assembly and maintenance of mobile gas filling stations. Before its opening, we tested this equipment in Pskent district of Tashkent region. It showed its effectiveness. In the near future, we plan to increase output and investment.

It should be noted that this equipment can be used not only in the transport industry and agriculture, but also in everyday life, covering the needs of the population in natural gas. Thus, according to experts, in the summer, one family in a residential building consumes about 150 m3 of gas per month, and in winter this figure doubles. According to manufacturers, on warm days, one, and in the cold - two mobile gas-filling stations can provide more than 30 residential buildings a month with blue fuel. It is much cheaper than building a CNG station or connecting a gas pipeline to remote rural areas.

“At the first stage, we plan to producce up to 40 mobile gas filling stations,” Adham Isomov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Uznefteproduct, said. - The company works on a localization program, the level of which is about forty percent. Today we are working on applications and possible exports. Our first priority is to provide the domestic market with equipment that will allow gas to be delivered to the end user.

Currently, Uzbekneftegaz together with partners from the Republic of Korea are working on the issues of production expansion. In order to increase the level of localization, it is planned to commission a plant for the production of high-pressure cylinders of natural gas. In short, these are new features and amenities for farmers, entrepreneurs, and ordinary citizens.
