Shell is interested in organizing the production of fuels and lubricants in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Shell is interested in organizing the production of fuels and lubricants in Uzbekistan. This was announced by Vice President Joanna Künsberg.

According to the program “Tahlilnoma” of the TV channel “Uzbekistan 24”, Künsberg noted that the positive changes taking place in Uzbekistan over the past two years have made Uzbekistan more attractive for foreign investors. 

In this regard, Shell is interested in implementing a project for production of fuels and lubricants, in particular, to meet the needs of large industrial enterprises.

He noted that the company has the opportunity to attract funds from the British Export Credit Guarantee Department in the amount of up to £1.2 billion for energy projects in Uzbekistan.
