Sheikh Abdulaziz Mansour appointed as new chief imam-hatib of Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Sheikh Abdulaziz Mansur has been appointed the new chief imam-hatib of Tashkent. This was reported by the press service of the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan.

At the same time Sheikh Abdulaziz Mansour will retain the post of deputy chairman of the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan.

He will also be representative of the Tashkent office and imam-hatib of the Minor mosque.

Previous chief imam-hatib of Tashkent, Anvar Qori Tursunov, died on 13 June after illness.
