Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Selected works of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev were translated into Turkish and published in a collection entitled “New Uzbekistan with a great future”. This was reported by the Agency of Information and Mass Communications under the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
This book was prepared on the initiative of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey, the Main Directorate of Libraries and Publishers, the Department of Culture and Propaganda of the Turkish Embassy in Tashkent. The creative team for its publication was headed by a professor, Dr. Firat Purtash.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan wrote a book review, and the presentation was prepared by the Minister of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey Mehmet Nuri Ersoy.
“Shavkat Mirziyoyev made many fiery speeches in three years. These speeches, which are assessed as historical events, were first available in Uzbek and Russian, and then translated into many foreign languages, including Turkish, and published in book form. It is worth noting that before the publication of the book “A New Uzbekistan with a Great Future”, there was not a single fundamental publication in Turkey about rapid changes and development in Uzbekistan,” the Turkish Embassy in Uzbekistan said in a statement.
The first edition of this book was published in 1000 copies. The first copy was presented to the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, who, as the only guest of honor, attended the opening ceremony of the People’s Library of the Presidential Administration of Turkey.
According to Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, the radical changes being carried out in Uzbekistan, as well as constantly growing relations with Turkey, served as an inspiration for this work.
