Shavkat Mirziyoyev visits fruit and vegetable processing enterprise

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev familiarized himself with the activities of Agromir limited liability company in Samarkand district.

Employing almost 450 people, the enterprise is capable of producing annually 60 thousand tons of juice and nectar as well as about 6 thousand tons of concentrates. Currently, the plant generates 42 types of goods.

Production and packaging workshops are equipped with Italian and Swiss technologies. Last year, the company exported goods for US$2.1 million, while over the past period of the current year the indicators reached US$5.5 million.

The Head of the state reviewed the course of processing fruits and vegetables, and got familiar with samples of finished products.
