Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Make Working Visit to Turkmenistan for International Forum

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — At the invitation of the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, will undertake a working visit to Turkmenistan on 11–12 December.

During the visit, the President of Uzbekistan will participate in an international forum dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the proclamation of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality, the International Day of Neutrality, and the declaration of 2025 as the “International Year of Peace and Trust.”

The event in Ashgabat will also bring together leaders of foreign states, heads of governments, and heads of international and regional organizations. Shavkat Mirziyoyev will deliver a speech at the forum’s plenary session on the topic: “Peace and Trust: Unity of Goals for a Sustainable Future.”

On the sidelines of the summit, a series of bilateral meetings with partners from various countries are planned to strengthen bilateral and regional cooperation.
