Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Make Working Trip to Surkhandarya Region

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will visit Surkhandarya Region on Thursday on a working trip.

The visit's program includes reviewing the progress of development works in the region, the implementation of projects in industry, agriculture, water management, construction, and the social sphere, as well as the inauguration of new facilities.

Particular attention will be paid to socioeconomic development and improving the quality of life of the population.

On Friday, the head of state will chair a meeting dedicated to the priority tasks of the comprehensive development of Surkhandarya Region, at which further measures to accelerate reforms and advance investment initiatives are expected to be outlined.
