Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Masdar City technology park.
This 600-hectare project is an innovative eco-city, built using modern technologies and engineering solutions. It uses only environmentally friendly energy sources, in particular solar panels and photovoltaic devices. Entrance of cars to the technopark is prohibited, instead of them, the movement of unmanned electric vehicles has been established.
The delegation of Uzbekistan received information about the features of the technology park. It was noted that a favorable scientific and creative environment has been created in the city for the creation of innovative developments and their introduction into various spheres of life. The streets of the eco-city are equipped with means to maintain the optimum temperature, fountains and ponds that contribute to ensuring a comfortable microclimate.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev familiarized himself with the activities of a laboratory operating here in the field of solar panel production. It was noted that such innovation centers are important for minimizing the human impact on the environment and strengthening international scientific cooperation.
The head of our state talked with a student of the University of the Caliphs from Uzbekistan, conducting research here. The President noted the importance of introducing the knowledge and experience gained here at home, making a practical contribution to the development of alternative energy in our country.
