Shavkat Mirziyoyev Offers Condolences to Vladimir Putin Over An-24 Crash

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has sent a message of condolence to President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin following the tragic crash of an An-24 passenger aircraft in Amur Region, which claimed numerous lives.

The Uzbek leader extended his heartfelt condolences and words of support to the families and loved ones of the victims, as well as to the entire people of Russia during this time of grief.

The tragedy occurred on the morning of 25 July, when an aircraft operated by Angara Airlines, en route from Blagoveshchensk to Tynda, lost contact during an attempted go-around during landing. There were 43 passengers on board, including five children, along with six crew members.

The wreckage of the aircraft was later found 15 kilometers from Tynda. According to the Investigative Committee of Russia, all those on board perished in the crash.

The Republic of Uzbekistan expresses sincere solidarity with the brotherly people of Russia and mourns together with the families of the victims.
