Shavkat Mirziyoyev Invites Aliyev to Visit Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev sent a congratulatory letter to the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, on the occasion of Victory Day, the press service of the Azerbaijani head of state reported.
In his message, Mirziyoyev warmly congratulated Aliyev and the people of Azerbaijan on the holiday, noting the decisive role of the Azerbaijani leader in restoring the country’s territorial integrity.
“Five years ago, thanks to the determination and courage of such a wise leader as you, historical justice was achieved, and the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan was restored,” the congratulatory letter states.
The President of Uzbekistan emphasized that this event became a symbol of Azerbaijan’s strength and potential, as well as a solid foundation for promoting peace, mutual understanding, and stability in the region.
Mirziyoyev also highlighted the significant transformations taking place in the Karabakh region, including the creation of modern infrastructure and the restoration of cultural monuments, expressing sincere joy at the achievements of the fraternal nation.
“I am confident that our open and productive meetings this year in Baku, Khankendi, and Gabala, along with the implementation of the agreements reached, will elevate the strategic partnership and alliance between our countries to a new level,” the president noted.
In conclusion, Shavkat Mirziyoyev invited Ilham Aliyev to visit Uzbekistan to participate in the upcoming Consultative Meeting of the Heads of Central Asian States, wishing the Azerbaijani leader good health, happiness, and success, and the people of Azerbaijan peace and prosperity.
