During the meeting, the participants discussed implementation of tasks and projects, identified during the visit of the head of state to the region on 2 March 2018.

The issues of ensuring additional revenues to the budget, increasing the volume of regional exports, improving the infrastructure of remote areas, building standard housing in the regional center, expanding implementation of the program “Obod Qishloq”, development of subsidiary farms, creating new jobs were discussed at the meeting.

The head of state gave specific instructions on eliminating the shortcomings committed by responsible persons and leaders of four sectors. He noted importance of strengthening control over the fulfillment of the tasks set for the consistent social and economic development of the region, the press service of the head of state said.

Attention was also paid to development of a fundamentally new system for implementation of projects, including development of forestry, oriented to the cultivation of export-oriented products, provision of the necessary resources to remote villages and enterprises of the construction industry, and support for private pre-school education.
