Shavkat Mirziyoyev gives instructions for improving the quality of roads

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev examined a new highway that runs through the territory of Kibray and Yukorichirchik districts of Tashkent region.

The construction of the road with a length of more than 19 kilometers will be carried out in three stages. The 12-kilometer stretch of road, which includes a bridge over the Chirchik River, has now been completed.

As is known, the existing highway connecting Tashkent with the Charvak zone is overloaded. During the tourist season there are traffic jams. The new road will take on most of this load, reduce the distance, as a result, getting to the resort areas will become easier and faster.

The President noted the need to continue road construction, training qualified personnel to ensure the high quality of work.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev made recommendations on the implementation of the German experience in the activities of the Tashkent Institute for the design, construction and operation of roads, the organization of regional colleges for training middle-level specialists.
