Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrives in Turkmenbashi

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in the city of Turkmenbashi on 24 August at the invitation of the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Esenmyrat Orazgeldyev and other officials welcomed the Uzbek leader.

Today the President of Uzbekistan will take part in the meeting of the Council of the Heads of the Founding States of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea.

At the summit, topical issues of cooperation of the Central Asian countries to improve the ecological state of the Aral Sea basin will be considered.

The head of our state will also hold a meeting with the President of Turkmenistan.
