Share of services in Uzbekistan’s GDP makes up 51.7%

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Share of services in the structure of Uzbekistan’s GDP made up 51.7% in the end of nine months of 2016 against 51.2% in the same period of 2015, the report of the Ministry of Economy and State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan said.

In the reporting period, about 9,000 new service objects were created in Uzbekistan in the reporting period within the programme of service development for 2016-2020.

In the result, the service sector recorded 12.4% growth in nine months of 2016 and its share in GDP rose from 51.2% in nine months of 2015 to 51.7% in the same period of 2016.
