Shanxi and Samarkand establish sister relationship

During the meeting with journalists from Central Asia, Zhang Xiaoning said that Shanxi province plans to sign an agreement for the establishment of sister city relations with the Samarkand region of Uzbekistan.

According to him, after signing the agreement, the parties may sign similar agreements at the level of cities and counties.

During the meeting with the Deputy Governor of Shanxi Province, the participants discussed visit of the delegation of journalists from Central Asia to the province, the creation of an Economic Zone of the Silk Road, trade and economic cooperation between the countries of Central Asia and China, as well as other issues.
