Shakhnoza Mirziyoyeva Awarded the Asian Order by the Asian Paralympic Committee

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Shakhnoza Mirziyoyeva, First Deputy Director of the National Social Protection Agency under the President of Uzbekistan, First Deputy Chairperson of the National Paralympic Committee, and member of the World Aquatics Bureau, has been awarded the Asian Order by the Asian Paralympic Committee.

This prestigious award recognizes her significant contributions to promoting equality, inclusion, the rights of persons with disabilities, and the advancement of parasports.

Thanks to her initiatives, the Association of Adaptive Sports was established in Uzbekistan, significantly strengthening opportunities for rehabilitation through sports and encouraging the active participation of women and girls with disabilities.

Shakhnoza Mirziyoyeva also plays a key role in developing parasports at the Asian level, fostering international cooperation and supporting inclusive sports programs.

Under her leadership, the adaptive sports infrastructure is expanding, new opportunities for young athletes are being created, and access to sports activities for people with special needs continues to grow.
