Senators approve several new laws

The law was developed in line with the presidential decree “On organizational measures on further improving activities of courts from 30 November 2012.

The document envisages measures on improving system of organizational-legal mechanisms of selection and training of candidates to post of judges, further ensuring independence of courts and improving activities of qualification board of the courts, organization of work of qualification boards of judges at all levels.

The senators also considered the law “On Introduction of changes and amendments, and abolishment of some legislative acts of Uzbekistan”, which is dedicated primarily to further improve the acting legislation in the socio-economic, socio-political and judicial spheres.

The law introduces changes and amendments to laws “On the notaries”, “On communications”, “On execution of judicial acts and acts of other bodies”, “On state oversight of the activities of corporate entities”, “On the Cabinet Of Ministers of Uzbekistan”, “On order of elaboration of draft laws and their introduction to the legislative chamber of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan”, “On the securities market”, the Criminal and Civil Codes, as well as a other legal documents.
