Senators approve law on business ombudsman

The law is aimed at strengthening the guarantees of protecting the rights and legitimate interests of business entities, preventing unjustified interference of state bodies and other organizations in their activities, identifying legal mechanisms for activities of the institution of the so-called business ombudsman.

The law will open wide opportunities for ensuring and protecting the rights and legitimate interests of business entities. Business ombudsperson will not only assist local business entities, but also foreign companies, operating in Uzbekistan.

The law was developed taking into account the best foreign experience, in particular such countries as the USA, France, Great Britain, Australia, Canada, South Korea.
