Senators approve amendments to some laws

The document was developed in line with the presidential decrees “On additional measures on further improving investment climate and business environment in Uzbekistan” from 7 April 2014, “On measures on further cardinal improvement of business environment and providing more freedom to entrepreneurship” from 18 July 2012, resolutions of the President “On measures on further improving procedures, related to improving entrepreneurship activates and providing state services” from 15 April 2014 and “On additional measures on providing assistance to development of civil society institutes” from 12 December 2013.

The law introduces changes and amendments to such laws as “On non-governmental and non-commercial organizations”, “On guarantees of entrepreneurship activities”, “On natural monopoly”, “ON state sanitary supervision”, “On licensing of some activities”, “On bankruptcy”, “On certification of products and services”, Tax Code, Air Code, Criminal Code, and others.

The amendments are directed at further improving investment climate and business environment, activities of NGOs, development of entrepreneurship, creating favourable conditions for business entities, improving civil legal procedures, etc. The law approved by Senators.
