Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Senators in the framework of the plenary session considered the issue of amending the expenses of the State Budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2019.

It was noted that in the process of execution of the State budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan, expenditures in some areas increased, and therefore additional funds were allocated, for this reason it is expected that expenditures in these areas will increase by more than 10 percent, and expenses for the maintenance of citizens' self-governing bodies will decrease by 12.3 percent.

In accordance with the submission of the Cabinet of Ministers, submitted in the prescribed manner for consideration by the Senate, a request is made to increase the parameters of the approved State Budget for 2019 in the relevant areas by 11.67 trillion soums and decrease by 95.2 billion soums. The issue was approved by the parliamentarians, an appropriate resolution of the Senate was adopted.

Then, the parliamentarians considered the question of changing the borders of the city of Samarkand and Samarkand district of the Samarkand region, the formation of Bandikhan region as part of Surkhandarya region and changing the borders of the Kizirik, Baysun and Kumkurgan districts. Then, the senators considered the question of sending a parliamentary request to the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the state of law enforcement by the authorities State Customs Service and the results of a study of the activities of border customs posts in Tash Kent area. It was noted that when studying the state of execution of legislative acts in the bodies of the State Customs Service, a number of problematic issues were identified, in connection with which there was a need to send this parliamentary request. An appropriate resolution of the Senate has been adopted on this issue.

Senators approved the sending of parliamentary requests to the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan about problems in the construction of affordable housing, as well as in providing the population with natural gas and electricity. On the issues considered, relevant decisions of the Senate were adopted.

Senate members of the Oliy Majlis considered the issue of amending the composition of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

During the plenary session, other issues falling within the competence of the upper house of parliament were also considered. On all issues discussed, relevant decisions of the Senate were adopted.

During the plenary session of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, 19 issues were considered, including 10 laws. It was emphasized that the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan approved by senators are aimed at further improving the legal framework for reforms carried out in all areas of state and social construction, as well as the development of international cooperation.
