Senate to hold plenary session in December

The Council of Senate of Oliy Majlis held a session on 14 November 2013. The Council adopted a resolution on convention of the thirteenth plenary session of the Senate of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan in Tashkent city on 12-13 December 2013.

The plenary session of the Senate will consider the State Budget of Uzbekistan for 2014, programme on creation of new jobs and employment of population for 2014, which envisages to improve life standards of population and provide social support to them.

The Senate of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan will also consider several laws directed at gradual reforming and liberalizing all spheres of political and social-economic life.

Senators will consider laws “On approval State Budget of Uzbekistan”, “On ecologic control”, “On guardianship and custody”.

The Senate will also discuss a law “On introduction of changes and amendments to some legislative laws of Uzbekistan” and other documents.

At the same time, the Senate will discuss other issues, related to jurisdiction of the Senate of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan.
