Senate of Uzbekistan to consider 9 laws

On the eve of the session, the Council of the Senate held a meeting to discuss information of the working groups on preparations to the plenary session of the upper house of the Uzbek parliament.

Chairpersons of the committee of the Senate made reports on the sessions of the committees and conclusions on the laws and draft decisions on other issues, submitted for consideration of the thirteenth session of the Senate. They also discussed issues of organizing the work of the plenary session of the Senate.

At the session of the Council, the upcoming plenary session of the Senate will consider 16 issues, including nine laws, the press service of the Senate of Oliy Majlisof Uzbekistan said.

Senators underlined actuality and importance of the consideration and approval of the State Budget of Uzbekistan for 2014 and Programme on creation of working places and employment of population for 2014.

The plenary session of the Senate will consider laws “On approval of Budget Code of Uzbekistan”, “On ecologic control”, “On custody and guardianship”, “On introduction of changes and amendments to some legislative acts of Uzbekistan”, and others.

The session also considered other issues related to the jurisdiction of the Council of the Senate of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan, UzA reported.

The Council of the Senate approved corresponding decisions on all considered issues.
