Senate of Oliy Majlis to Hold 11th Plenary Session on 31 October

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Senate of the Oliy Majlis has adopted a resolution to convene its 11th plenary session on 31 October 2025.

The agenda includes draft laws addressing key aspects of public life and socio-economic development. Lawmakers are expected to review bills on the circulation of pyrotechnic products, state social insurance, amendments to legislation on providing legal assistance to low-income citizens, and a draft law regulating relations arising from the use of artificial intelligence.

Senators will also discuss measures to strengthen enforcement in the fuel and energy sector, regulate currency and precious metals circulation, improve procedures for privatization of state property, simplify enforcement proceedings, and develop legislation in the agricultural and environmental spheres.

Special attention will be given to improving social protection systems and methods for crop cultivation along field margins.

Additionally, the agenda includes a parliamentary inquiry to the Chairperson of the Committee on Family and Women, Z. Makhkamova, regarding efforts to strengthen the family institution and prevent divorces in the country.
