Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - On 27 November  2019, the Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Tanzila Narbaeva held a meeting with a delegation of the International Organization for Migration led by the regional director for Eastern Europe, Southeast Europe and Central Asia Argentina Sabadosh.

During the meeting, the state and prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation on migration and ensuring the labor rights of citizens were discussed.

Suggestions were made on promising areas of cooperation, in particular, the parties agreed to adopt a Plan of practical measures for cooperation between the National Commission on Combating Trafficking in Human Beings and Forced Labor and the International Organization for Migration for 2020-2021.
