Senate elects new composition of Constitutional Court

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Senate of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan elected a new composition of the Constitutional Court on 24 August 2017.

Senators elected Askarjon Gafurov, Fayzulla Kayumov, Bakhtiyor Miralymov, Bakhtiyar Mirbabaev, Genjemurat Pirjanov and Kahramon Uljaev as judges of the Constitutional Court of Uzbekistan.

At the same time, the Constitutional Court elected Bakhtiyar Mirbabaev as chairman of the court, and Askarjon Gafurov as deputy chairman.
