Senate Discusses Preparations for Uzbekistan Delegation’s Visit to Belarus
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 25 August, a meeting was held to discuss preparations for the visit of the Uzbekistan delegation, led by Senate Chairperson Tanzila Narbayeva, to the Republic of Belarus, scheduled for September.
Senators and heads of relevant ministries and agencies participated in the discussions.
The meeting focused on organizational matters and priority areas of cooperation, including mechanical engineering, agriculture, light industry, healthcare, education, and tourism.
During the visit, the third business forum for women entrepreneurs of the two countries will take place, featuring seven thematic sections where agreements on experience exchange are expected to be signed.
Additionally, a national exhibition “Made in Uzbekistan” will open in Vitebsk, showcasing the work of more than 50 women entrepreneurs representing food, pharmaceutical, and light industry products, as well as tourism, handicrafts, and electronics.
