Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan headed by the Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis Tanzila Narbaeva is visiting Japan.

Within the framework of the visit on 23 October, the delegation held talks with the President of the Republic of Armenia A.V. Sargsyan, during which issues of the current state of bilateral relations, as well as prospects for the development of Uzbek-Armenian cooperation, were discussed.

On the same day, the Uzbek delegation took part in the State Banquet on behalf of the Prime Minister of Japan, Sh. Abe and his wife, on the occasion of the ascension to the throne of Emperor Naruhito.

During this event, meetings were held with the leadership of the Parliament and Government of Japan, as well as the heads of foreign states and governments. An exchange of views took place on the further development and strengthening of the diverse cooperation of Uzbekistan with these countries.
