Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — At the eleventh plenary session of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, senators considered the Law “On Amendments and Additions to Articles 431 and 432 of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan ‘On the Enforcement of Judicial Documents and Documents of Other Bodies’ in connection with the further improvement of the simplified enforcement procedure.”
During the session, senators noted that in recent years, as part of the country’s large-scale judicial and legal reforms, special attention has been given to improving the system for the enforcement of judicial acts and documents issued by other bodies. It was emphasized that regulatory legal acts are being adopted to simplify enforcement procedures, ensure the unconditional and timely implementation of court decisions, strengthen the effective protection of the rights of individuals and legal entities, eliminate bureaucratic obstacles and delays, and promote the active use of modern information technologies.
The law establishes the application of the simplified enforcement procedure to documents related to the recovery of postal and videoconferencing expenses, debts for utility services, mandatory payments by owners of apartment buildings, as well as amounts not exceeding five times the basic calculation value.
Senators highlighted that the adoption of this law expands the use of simplified debt recovery procedures, enhances the efficiency and speed of enforcement processes, and reduces the workload of the Bureau of Compulsory Enforcement.
Following discussions, the Senate approved the law.
