Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Senate approved the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On innovation”.

The Law defines the basic concepts of innovation and innovation activity, the principles of innovation and the mechanisms of its state regulation.

At the same time, the Law stipulates that the main directions of state policy are the promotion of investment in innovation, the development of public-private partnerships, studying, retraining and further training of personnel and the development of international cooperation.

The approved Law will enter into force after its signing by the President and published in the prescribed manner.
