Senate appoints new envoy to South Korea
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Senate of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan has appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to the Republic of Korea on 13 December 2013.
Senators approved the candidacy of Alisher Kurmanov to the post of the Ambassador to South Korea.
At this post he replaced Vitaliy Fen, who completed his mission in August 2013. Fen worked as the envoy of Uzbekistan to South Korea for 18 years.
