Sen Yolg’iz Emassan holds charity campaign in Nukus

The campaign is held annually to provide high quality medical aid to child population and carrying out of surgeries.

Organized jointly with the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan and the Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute, the campaign was held this year in the capital of Karakalpakstan at the Republican junior multidisciplinary medical center and the Republican Eye Hospital in Nukus.

List of specializations, on which medical aid were rendered this year, was expanded significantly. Along with plastic surgeons, the specialists in cardiology, ophthalmology, otolaryngology and traumatology participated in the campaign.

The doctors examined about 450 children and 60 of them underwent surgery. Another 50 persons were sent to Tashkent to continue their treatment.

The campaign also included training for local medical specialists on conducting high technological surgeries.
