Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 14 October, Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ramil Usubov met with Secretary of the Security Council under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Viktor Makhmudov, who was in Azerbaijan.
The meeting noted the development of strategic partnership between countries in various fields and the expansion of cooperation, consistent with the political will of the heads of our states, Ilham Aliyev and Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
During the conversation, it was noted that the new challenges and threats of international terrorism and transnational organized crime are increasing and becoming global in nature, the importance of cooperation between the relevant bodies of both states in the timely identification of radical elements propagandizing extremism and aggressive separatism, as well as the suppression of their illegal activities, was emphasized.
