SCO RATS head meets with Palestinian envoy

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Director of the Executive Committee of the Regional anti-terrorist structure (RATS) Zhang Sinfen held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Palestine to Uzbekistan Mohammad Abdullah Tarshahani on 8 October 2013.

During the meeting, the sides discussed military-political situation in Central Asia and outside the region, the press service of the SCO RATS said.

They also exchange opinion on perspectives of situation in Afghanistan in connection with withdrawal of international coalition forces and situation in Middle East. The sides discussed Palestinian-Israeli dialogue on peace in the region.

The Palestinian side expressed readiness to develop contacts with the SCO RATS on international cooperation in ensuring regional and international security.
