SCO RATS chief holds negotiations with Pakistani envoy

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Executive Committee of the Regional anti-terrorist structure of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO RATS Executive Committee) in Tashkent hosted a meeting of the SCO RATS Executive Committee Director Mr. Zhang Xinfeng with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Pakistan in Uzbekistan Riaz Hussain Bukhari on 16 January 2014.

At the meeting, the sides discussed issues of establishing cooperation in fighting terrorism, separatism and extremism between the SCO RATS and competitive bodies of Pakistan, problems of regional security and stability in the SCO area.

The sides underlined that it is actual to establish close partnership relations between the SCO RATS and the competitive bodies of the SCO observer states.

In order to establish partnership relations and to develop cooperation between the SCO RATS and competitive bodies of Pakistan, the sides discussed issues on organization of the visit of the SCO RATS chief to Pakistan.
