Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 26 November 2025, a SAZ LE-60 bus (license plate 01|647 BKA, fleet No. 162) on route No. 26 in Tashkent emitted black smoke while in operation.
A video of the incident was shared on social media, attracting significant public attention.
On 27 November, the bus was temporarily taken off the route for repair work. During maintenance, specialists inspected the engine and turbocharger and cleaned the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system and EGR valves.
Toshshahartanskhizmat JSC reports that the malfunction has been fully resolved, and the bus has resumed service on route No. 26.
